Get iUSD.

iUSD is the dollar you trade with on ONIX. Every unit exists because someone deposited a real dollar into a published reserve, and every unit can be cashed back out through the same door, anytime.

Moving in or out is one signature — no gas and no forms. Each signature belongs to the network that checks it (dollars in on Base, dollars out on Arc), so the widget asks your wallet to be on the right one first; switching networks is free and is not a transaction. The bridge charges 1% on the way in and 5% on the way out, quoted as exact figures before you sign: deposit 100.00 USDC and receive 99.00 iUSD; burn 100.00 iUSD and receive 95.00 USDC. Instant credit runs up to 1000.00 USDC per deposit and instant payout up to 200.00 USDC; above either, a person handles it — same amount, more hours.

2The terms

Cashing outALWAYS OPEN · 5% FEE

Cashing out is the second tab above, and it is always open. The iUSD you cash out is destroyed on the spot — that is the receipt — and dollars return to the same wallet on Base, minus the 5% cash-out fee, quoted as an exact figure before you sign: burn 100.00 iUSD, receive 95.00 USDC. Payouts the desk float can cover are paid automatically within minutes; the rest the desk pays from the reserve within hours — the same amount either way. The widget says which one you are getting before you sign. No waiting period, no questions.

Do not transfer iUSD to us by hand to cash out. It has to be destroyed for the count to stay honest, and a plain transfer is not that. If you have already sent one, write to support — the footnote below — and it is put right.

What stands behind itBACKED 1:1 · PUBLISHED

iUSD is issued by the ONIX team, and only when a deposit comes in — never out of thin air. The deposits sit in a wallet we publish, so anyone can compare what we hold against the iUSD in circulation. Bridge fees are retained in that same reserve, so the backing only grows relative to circulation — the split between required backing and fee surplus is itemized, with the rest of the disclosure, on Transparency.

a dollar in stays a dollar held. the ledger is public, the reserve is one address, and anyone can do the subtraction.

3The network fee

iUSD is not gas — and the bridge does not sell gasARC · GAS IS NATIVE USDC

Two different assets, and mixing them up is the one confusion worth spending a section on. iUSD is the dollar you trade with — it is what this page moves in and out, and it is what every price on ONIX is quoted in. Native USDC on Arc is what the network charges to process a transaction. The bridge above delivers the first and never the second, no matter how much you deposit.

For almost everything, that does not matter, because ONIXpays the network fee for you: buying, selling, claiming your creator fees, releasing a graduated coin's accrued fees, trading a graduated coin and moving dollars in and out through the bridge above are all a signature, not a transaction. You can hold zero native USDC forever and never notice.

Two things are the exception, and each says so on its own screen before you click: launching a coin (about 0.008 native USDC — it costs several times what a trade does, which is why it is not carried), and sending a full curve to Uniswap to collect the graduation bounty (whoever lands it collects it, so whoever lands it pays for it). The second is permissionless: anyone holding gas can press it, and while a curve waits, selling stays open and stays covered.

Coverage is a finite budget, and it can be off. There is no way to buy more native USDC on Arc, so the budget really does run out — and when it does, the last slice of each day is held back so that selling and collecting stay free after buying stops. The other states are: not switched on in this build, paused, the whole day spent, this wallet's own share spent, and the service unreachable. Every control names which one it is before you click, and stops instead of offering a transaction you cannot pay for — nothing is ever locked, and the same click works when coverage returns. The full list, with what to do about each, is in the docs.

Smart-contract wallets are not covered at all. A Safe, a Coinbase Smart Wallet or any contract account has no key of its own, and coverage works by accepting a signature in place of a transaction. Such a wallet can still trade normally — it pays its own network fees in native USDC — but it cannot use this bridge in either direction, and it should not send a plain transfer either: deposits credit to the same address on Arc, which for a contract account is not necessarily yours. Write to us first and we will sort it out with you.

If you need native USDC on Arc, ask. There is no faucet on this chain and no market to buy it on — that is a property of Arc, not a policy of ours. Write to us on X / Twitter with the wallet address and what you are trying to do, and we will sort it. If a trade is what you are stuck on, say so — a stuck exit is the one we drop everything for.

dollars in, dollars out, and the network's bill is ours. two exceptions and five ways it can be off, all of them written down before you click.
