ONIXConnect to Arc

Wallet not working on Arc? It is one dead URL.

The endpoint that most people saved when they first added Arc went offline at the end of July. Wallets pointing at it show the network but never load a balance and never send a transaction. Below are endpoints that answer right now, checked live from your own browser, and the fix.

Working endpoints, checked from your browser

These are tested right now, from your connection — not from our server. A green result means the endpoint returned a live block height, which is something only a running node can do.

Add Arc to your wallet

This fills in the network using whichever endpoint is answering right now.

Already had Arc saved? Read this one

If you added Arc before the end of July, your wallet is almost certainly pointing at real-pump-soon-trust-me-bro-again.poptyedev.com, which no longer exists. Wallets do not replace an endpoint you already saved, so the button above may appear to work and change nothing. Balances stay at zero and transactions fail with vague errors. Replace it by hand:

  1. Open your wallet settings and find the saved network list.
  2. Open the entry for Arc (chain ID 5042).
  3. Replace the RPC URL with one of the working endpoints above.
  4. Save, then switch to Arc. Your balance should appear immediately.

Nothing about this touches your funds. The network entry is only an address book telling your wallet who to ask — your balance lives on the chain, not in that setting.

Gas on Arc is paid in USDC, so you do not need to hold a separate gas token. The same balance is both the native currency your wallet shows and the USDC token contract, which is why the decimals differ between the two views.
